  • Who Should Attend This PTLLS Course?

Anyone who wants a formal qualification in training - in particular those working in the FE sector or those delivering accredited qualifications and courses. There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification; however, there is a written assignment to be completed. This will involve reading the supplied reference books, researching specific topics, applying theory to practical scenarios and demonstrating knowledge and understanding through written work. Therefore, candidates for this course should have a good standard of written and verbal communications skills.

Delegates should allow approximately 2 hours of intensive homework in the evenings. Assignments are phased to be completed over a set time frame after the course has finished.

    Course Material

Each delegate will be issued with a workbook and official PTLLS study book to assist them both during and after the course which will contain information, guidance and forms. The PTLLS course is designed to be interactive, allowing delegates the opportunity to develop their skills with the support of the course tutor.

    Course Tutor

Our learning and development consultants are qualified and experienced training professionals with a background in supporting new and experienced trainers.

    Duration

The course is delivered over four days.

    Certification

After the course, your completed portfolio will be assessed by your tutor and checked by our internal verifier. City & Guilds require us to supply portfolios for external verification. When these processes are successfully completed, we can apply for your City & Guilds 6302 Certificate in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS).
